Privacy should describe the machine as it actually works.
This Policy explains what The Fifth Signal collects, why it is used, when it may be disclosed, and the choices available to you.
1. Scope and operator
This Policy applies to The Fifth Signal website, digital products, purchase fulfillment, customer support, and related signup forms operated by The Conspiracy Trader LLC, doing business as The Fifth Signal. It does not govern a third party's independent website, app, or privacy practices.
2. Information we collect
We may collect information you submit, including your name, email address, optional mobile number, research interests, activity level, inquiry details, support communications, Telegram-related delivery details, and purchase information received from Stripe. Stripe handles payment-card details; The Fifth Signal generally receives transaction, customer, subscription, and payment-status information rather than full card numbers.
We may also collect source URL, campaign and referral parameters, time, IP address, browser or device information, consent choices, the exact consent text and named partner list shown, product access and content engagement, fraud indicators, and technical logs. The Fifth Signal does not ask for brokerage passwords, trading account credentials, Social Security numbers, or authority to place trades in your account.
3. How we use information
We use information to operate the site; deliver the free email publication; process and verify payments; deliver Signal Feed; maintain subscriptions and access records; provide support; prevent fraud and duplicate submissions; secure and troubleshoot the service; measure campaigns and referrals; maintain consent, opt-out, and suppression records; comply with law; enforce agreements; and evaluate products or partner recommendations.
4. The free email publication and named partner marketing
When you submit the homepage email form, we use the address, signup source, campaign parameters, time, consent record, and limited technical information to enroll you in The Fifth Signal email publication through Beehiiv, prevent abuse, measure acquisition, and document your request. The homepage form does not authorize us to sell or share your email address with marketing partners. You can unsubscribe from the publication at any time using the link in an email.
The separate named-partner program remains paused unless its signup page displays a current approved list of participating companies and the corresponding systems are active. If you affirmatively choose partner marketing on that separate form, we may disclose only the fields described there to only the companies named there for the stated purpose. A company added later receives no rights under an earlier consent.
5. Service providers and platforms
We disclose information to service providers as needed to operate The Fifth Signal. The current stack may include:
Stripe for checkout, payments, subscriptions, receipts, billing support, and fraud controls.
Supabase for application databases, consent records, subscriptions, and access records.
Netlify for website hosting, serverless functions, delivery, and technical logs.
Beehiiv for newsletter enrollment and delivery.
Telegram for Signal Feed delivery and membership access.
Rewardful for affiliate and referral attribution.
Zapier for approved workflow automation, including payment and access events.
These providers process information under their own agreements and privacy notices. We may also disclose information to professional advisers, authorities, or other parties when reasonably necessary to comply with law, protect rights and security, investigate fraud, enforce agreements, or complete a merger, financing, acquisition, or sale of business assets subject to appropriate notice and safeguards.
6. Sale, sharing, and targeted advertising
We do not activate partner delivery without the separate choices described above. If you affirmatively authorize named partner marketing, compensation received for that permissioned delivery may cause certain state laws to treat the transfer as a “sale,” “sharing,” or targeted advertising. Named partners handle disclosed information under their own privacy policies.
You may revoke future partner disclosure or request to opt out by contacting us. We will apply the request to our systems and instruct affected contracted partners where required. A revocation does not make earlier processing unlawful, and we may retain limited suppression and consent records to honor and document your choice.
7. Cookies and attribution
The site uses necessary browser storage and may use limited campaign, referral, and affiliate identifiers to secure functions, remember choices, prevent fraud, measure traffic, and attribute a purchase. Rewardful may set or read a referral identifier when you follow an affiliate link. Browser controls can limit cookies, but doing so may affect attribution or site functions. We will request consent for non-essential technologies where required by law.
8. Retention
We keep information only as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose collected, including product delivery, customer support, billing, accounting, fraud prevention, security, legal compliance, consent evidence, suppression, and dispute resolution. Retention depends on the record:
Transaction, subscription, access, tax, and accounting records may be kept for up to seven years after the transaction or relationship ends.
Support requests, inquiries, lead records, and technical logs are generally kept for up to 24 months after the last relevant interaction, unless a shorter or longer period is reasonably necessary.
Consent evidence and opt-out or suppression records may be retained for as long as needed to honor the choice and establish compliance, including after other profile data is deleted.
We may retain information longer when law, litigation, a valid legal request, fraud prevention, or an unresolved dispute requires it. We delete, de-identify, or restrict information when it is no longer reasonably needed.
9. Your choices and privacy rights
Use the unsubscribe link in commercial email.
Reply STOP to marketing texts and HELP for assistance.
Request access, correction, deletion, a portable copy, suppression, or information about disclosure, subject to applicable law.
Ask which consent version and named partner list were associated with your record.
Opt out of future sale, sharing, targeted advertising, or named partner marketing where applicable.
Use the Privacy Choices form to submit an opt-out, access, deletion, or correction request, or email thefifthsignal5@gmail.com. We may ask for information reasonably necessary to verify your identity and authority. An authorized agent may submit a request where permitted by law. If we deny a request, you may appeal by replying with “Privacy Appeal” in the subject line. We will not unlawfully discriminate against you for exercising a privacy right.
10. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures appropriate to the information and service, including access controls, server-side secrets, payment verification, and operational logging. No internet transmission or storage system is guaranteed to be completely secure. If a breach requires notice under applicable law, we will provide that notice.
11. Location and third-party services
Information is primarily processed in the United States and may be processed in other locations where our providers operate. Third-party platforms and linked sites control their own privacy practices. Review their notices before providing information directly to them.
12. Children
The site and products are intended for adults age 18 and older and are not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor submitted information, contact us so we can investigate and delete it as appropriate.
13. Policy changes
We may update this Policy to reflect changes in law, products, or data practices. The page will show the new effective date, and we will provide additional notice when required. A revised Policy does not silently broaden an earlier partner-marketing consent; a materially different partner or purpose requires a new disclosure and consent where required.
14. Contact
